Nominated businesses must:
- be corporations, partnerships or sole proprietorships,
- have been operating in Shasta County for at least one year, and
- have at least one employee.
To be eligible for a grand prize, a company:
- must be nominated by a minimum of 10% of their employee population,
- must receive at least one checkmark in each of the five categories on the nomination form, and
- a written narrative must be included on the nomination form.

Nomination forms must be received
by March 28, 2008 at 5 p.m.
Entries received after that date
will not be considered.

Smart will securely hold all company information received and will not sell, rent, license, lease, loan, or trade any contact information or data relating to companies to third parties. Smart will only publicize information about companies that we consider positive.
